COVID-19 created significant challenges for on-the-ground prevention programming. Between social distancing, stay-at-home orders, and Zoomed out teachers, staff, and students, preventionists have had to get creative with how they do their work. In this breakout session, five of NC’s RPE Coordinators will provide insights on how their out-of-the-box thinking helped them accomplish the COVID pivot.
Facilitated by Glorina Stallworth, Prevention Unit Manager for the Injury and Violence Prevention Branch at the North Carolina’s Division of Public Health
Panelists are the following RPE Coordinators:
Nicole Schnarrs, Promise Place
Laura Carper, SAFE of Transylvania
Omar Godwin, Families First
Hailey Leiva, OCRCC
Traci Dunston, Safe Space
