The social ecological model of violence prevention gives us language to understand why community and society-level prevention is essential to ending sexual violence. Still, many of our current prevention strategies are less effective at reaching the people and communities we know are at greatest risk for sexual violence. This panel, featuring preventionists and advocates who work within those communities, will identify current gaps or challenges and offer culturally responsive, meaningful and relevant solutions.
