Summit Speaker Announcement: OMAR GODWIN
We are delighted to announce Omar Godwin as a conversation panelist for the 2021 NC Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Summit!
Omar Godwin was born and raised in Whiteville, North Carolina. He graduated from East Carolina University with his Bachelor’s of Science in Family and Community Services with a minor in Human Services in May 2009. Godwin then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he initiated his graduate students in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, which lead him to a career in Behavioral Health. Godwin worked in various leadership roles in the field before returning home to North Carolina in November 2019, where he took on the role of Rape Prevention Education Coordinator for Bladen and Columbus Counties at Families First, Inc.
