Summit Speaker Announcement: AMANDA PINER
We are delighted to announce Amanda Piner as a co-presenter for the 2021 NC Sexual Violence Primary Prevention Summit!
Amanda Piner is the Prevention Educator at the Rape Crisis Center of Coastal Horizons Center. As Prevention Educator, Amanda acts as the lead facilitator of the Bringing in the Bystander Program being implemented in all 9th grade Health/PE classes in New Hanover County Schools. In addition, Amanda assists the RPE Coordinator, by implementing primary prevention strategies in our community. In 2017, she obtained her Bachelors of Social Work degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Her experience after graduation includes multiple years providing direct support and case management to survivors of Human Trafficking and then in 2019 joining the Rape Crisis Center as a Victim Advocate/Educator. Born and raised in Wilmington, NC, Amanda enjoys living a beach town life with her family, dog, and cats.
